Frame Rust Repair

Rust Frame Repairs

Have a Jeep Wrangler or a vintage-style vehicle, but worried about frame rust repair? Look no further as BDR Automotive offers frame rust repair services for your car or older model vehicle.

Getting regular oil changes is very important for your vehicle. An oil change service involves draining the oil, replacing the filter, and filling oil to the needed level.

At BDR Automotive, we do more than just that. We treat an oil change like a “check in”; how is your car doing? We will perform a routine check on your car to make sure everything is working properly and that there aren’t any abnormalities. This includes checking the lights, horn, windshield wipers, and HVAC system, as well as a road test to check for any strange noises or vibrations. We also check the fluids, hoses, belts, air filters and look for any leaks. Checking these functions of your vehicle is very important so that we can seek out any issues that could potentially grow into bigger and more expensive problems down the road.

Brake Repair Technician

Brakes

Getting a brake repair is very important for your vehicle and your safety on the road.

At BDR Automotive, during a brake repair, one of our expert technicians will flush brake fluid, check your brake pads and replace if needed, and resurface rotors. They will also clean, lubricate, and adjust any components of your brakes that need some love.

If your car needs front end repair, our expert technicians have the skills and trusted knowledge to perform a number of  automotive services depending on your vehicle’s needs. Depending on the front end repair service, technicians may remove old components and install any needed parts, with power tools to securely tighten down the hardware. The timing of the part replacement service varies depending on the severity of the damage, and we are always happy to walk through the details of the repair process with you. Transparency is key!

Ball Joints

Ball joints are essential for your car’s steering and suspension systems, which are used in the front end, allowing your vehicle to steer well and ultimately giving you a safe ride. They allow wheel hubs to pivot on an axis and basically act as ball and socket joints. We offer ball joint replacements, which is something your vehicle may need if you are dealing with unstable steering and popping noises when driving over bumps on the road. We’re happy to provide you with our expert services and advice for your ball joint needs at BDR Automotive.

Tires And Wheels

Getting your tires checked is very important for your vehicle and your safety on the road. We perform a number of services for your tires and wheels, including checking tire pressure, wheel balancing, and patching tires. No matter what the service is, we always perform an initial inspection on your vehicle to determine the best recommendation for your vehicle’s needs. You can trust our expertise and extensive knowledge to provide you with the best and most honest service!

Check Engine Light

If your car is showing a “check engine” or “service engine soon” alert on the dashboard that means one of your vehicle’s sensors is detecting a problem. It could be something minor like a loose gas cap, or something more serious like a problem with the catalytic converter. Either way, we recommend it is best to see a technician so we can perform a diagnosis and really get to the root of the problem, and then provide a solution for you. You can trust our expertise to figure out what it is that needs to be done in order for your car to be safe and ready for the road.

The ABS (anti-lock braking systems) are put in place as an additional safety feature in your vehicle, preventing your wheels from locking during braking. The ABS module is the main component of your vehicle’s entire anti-lock braking system and its role is adjusting braking pressure so you don’t hydroplane or skid in poor weather conditions. If you think something is wrong with your ABS module, it is best you get it checked out by a professional immediately, so you stay safe and receive expert advice and service for your car’s needs.

If you have tire pressure light flashing on your dashboard, it may mean there is a tire pressure issue with your vehicle, meaning the pressure could potentially be either too low or too high. This alert is coming from your vehicle’s TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System), and it is important to see a technician as soon as possible so we can get to the root cause of the alert. Taking action right away and seeing one of our expert technicians at BDR Automotive reduces your risk of potential tire damage.

Alignments are an important auto service which includes a general inspection of tires and inspecting for uneven tread, so that your vehicle won’t develop uneven tire wear and poor suspension quality. It is best to get an alignment done every few years, as well as after you get a new set of tires, just to guarantee all of them are correctly angled on the vehicle, and that you and your family are safe on the road.

car noise

If your car is suffering from an odd noise, it could be a number of issues. There are many types of potential noises your car could be making, including: clanking, clicking, clucking, hissing, flapping, or rattling. If you are hearing a noise coming from your vehicle, it is best to take it to a technician so we can find the root cause of the noise and provide you with a solution that is best for your vehicle. Our expert technicians are who to trust with their professional advice and service for your car’s needs.

At BDR Automotive, we offer high-quality battery service and battery replacement depending on your needs. Before we perform any battery service, we do a full inspection of your car to test your battery and see what potential issues arise. Based on those results, we then give you our expert and honest recommendations and we go from there. From inspecting and cleaning electrical connections to full battery repairs, we’ve got you covered!

scheduled maintenance

A scheduled maintenance is a routine check-up you should keep up with for your vehicle so that systems including your coolant levels, brakes, windshield wipers, and brake and power steering can be checked. It is important for your safety; and keeping up with a consistent schedule over many years can reduce the likelihood of your vehicle breaking down and any potential expensive repairs.

We want to make sure you and your family are in a cool, comfortable environment when driving your vehicle. That’s why we perform AC repair for when your AC isn’t working properly.

At BDR Automotive, we service your AC system, which includes cleaning and lubricating the fan and compressor motors to eliminate stress on these parts. We check refrigerant pressure and fill it up if necessary. It is a full service cleaning and inspection for your AC system, to guarantee you and your family will be properly cooled, and not stuck in an overheated vehicle on a hot summer day-because that’s no fun!
